I Love You Even When You Snore

Mister Handmade in Israel snores. A lot. If I go to sleep before him, then I am okay. He doesn't usually wake me. But woe betide I go to bed later than him! Let's just say I am in for a restless night. This year my Valentine's Day card for him had a snoring theme. "I love you even when you snore" it said on the card. I added some zzzz's for good measure, a moon, some stars and a little red heart in the cloud. Well, it was Valentine's Day. Truthfully, of course I love him but sometimes I want to kill him when he snores 😉. For Valentine's Day I ordered him a Snore Ring. Anything is worth a try! Fortunately Mister Handmade in Israel's Valentine's gestures were far more romantic than mine...
A good friend celebrated her birthday recently, so I made a papercut card for her too. 'D' is her first initial. She loved the card.
If you would like to order an initial card for someone special, you can do so right here.

  1. Such a cute idea! Snoring can be unbeievably loud sometimes. My sister has the same problem as you.

  2. Haha! This made me laugh. Jim and I sleep in separate rooms due to snoring. It is actually better for him too because he worries about keeping me awake. Now we both sleep good. The initial is beautiful and so simple (although not simple in work). :)

  3. Your snore card is perfect! The Husband of mine is a snorer, too. He's lost a few pound, so it's not so bad as it has been. Sometimes his own snores wake him up. That always cracks me up.

  4. Actually now we live in the mountains hubby's snoring has greatly decreased. Had never had the heart to have him try those things to keep the jaw shut. I simply roll him on his side. 90% of the time it works, because it wakes him up, for a few seconds, long enough to interrupt the snoring. On "bad" nights I need to do it a few times, but still, I prefer that method.
The card with the D is very stylish and modern! Many thanks for always making your post interesting for All Seasons! And a good measure of humor too:)

  7. You have such a steady hand! Your papercutting is amazing. My husband also snores, it can be very hard to sleep next to all that noise. Ihope the snoring ring works for you #mmbc

  10. What a great card! Even though lots of noises bother me, Hubby's snoring doesn't for some reason.

  16. Hi Lisa, the card you created is a classic and had me starting the day chuckling away. Beautifully designed and full of humour, in my opinion, you can't get much more romantic than that!

  17. I need one of these myself! I'm deaf in my left ear so I sleep on my right-hand side to block out the noise!
