Movin' Out

For Roi's 23rd birthday card I showed him on his travels, with his grey rucksack on his back. Like many Israeli kids post-military service, he had been off exploring the world. This year he has started studying and has moved to the cool city of Jaffa. Mum sent me a funny photo taken on the day he moved out. Ro'i was laden down with bags, ready to fill his parents car with all his stuff! She wanted to make sure I included his hat, which she felt symbolized his new beginnings at drama school, and the bags and skateboard, to show that he was on the move. A big number 24 marks his age.
As you can see from the photos she sent me, mum told me that Ro'i absolutely loved the card!

Skateboarding and DJing

The question "Where's there a good selection of birthday cards here?" recently popped up on my local Facebook group. Fortunately several of my local customers answered and I quickly received an order for a birthday card for a soon-to-be 13 year old.
The young man is into skateboarding, science, chemistry and maths, especially pi, his dad told me. I suggested adding a big 13 to the card as well.
Dad seemed very happy with the card when he came to collect it and assured me that he will be back for more in the near future.
Max was turning 15. His auntie asked me to make him a birthday card on the theme of DJing. I have shown a young man wearing headphones and spinning a disk. A big number 15 marks his age.
"Great card!" his auntie messaged me.

Daniel and Ro'i

Football fan, Daniel, was turning 10. His favourite team is Manchester City, so Mum asked me to create a customised birthday card showing him wearing the team's sky blue shirt. He often likes to wear his favourite hat too, which Mum sent me a photo of. His precious Manchester City ball was included on the card as well.
Daniel, Mum told me, really loved the card!

Daniel's big brother Ro'i marked his 15th birthday back in January (hey, it's never too late to show you cards here!). For his birthday card, Mum chose a skateboarding theme. He loves to go everywhere on his skateboard, she told me. I tried to get just the right look for his longer hair, his "almost 15 year old look" as Mum called it. He's since had it cut short!
