Lightning McQueen

I usually shy away from requests for cartoon characters. I prefer to work in my own illustrative style and find that the likeness is never quite there when you try to recreate a Disney, or some other much loved character. However, a good friend asked me to create a special card showing Disney's Lightning McQueen for a special 8 year old and I had a go. I like to think I've caught something of the character, whilst retaining something of mine!

Hello! I have arrived! I love your cards - the one for Saba is gorgeous and I really like the one for the teacher too. I'll bet they will be treasured for years to come.
